Double walled teapot – The ideal water quantity and temperature
First, rinse the teapot with a small amount of boiled water, then fill it up to 90% or 1.5 cm below the rim for the most ideal temperature retention. Adjust the water temperature according to the type of tea you're brewing, as each tea requires a different water temperature. For black tea, use approximately 100°C, for oolong tea 85°C, for green and white tea 70°C, and for rooibos and herbal infusions 95°C.
The most reliable tool for reaching the correct temperature is a thermometer. Alternatively, you can make an estimate. When pouring the water, it will lose about 10°C in temperature. Waiting a few minutes to let the temperature drop can also be enough.

Cleaning your Bredemeijer® double walled teapot
You can clean the outside of the double walled teapot with a soft, damp cloth. The inside can be easily cleaned with hot water and dish soap. Rinse the teapot thoroughly and dry it with a tea towel. Do not use descaling agents or chemicals. Also, avoid abrasive or polishing products when cleaning the inside or outside of the double walled teapot.
