Does the tealight extinguish quickly?
If the flame goes out once the teapot is placed on top, we recommend using a low tealight cup and lighting the candle a bit earlier so warm air can circulate properly.

Rust
Always store the tealight holder dry. Optionally, place a paper towel between the holder and the plate when storing. If rust does appear, simply rub it with a lightly oiled cloth (e.g. with olive oil).
