Care tips before first use
Wash the teapot with warm water and soap, then dry with a clean tea towel. Before brewing, rinse the teapot with boiling water.

Cleaning
The enamelled interior can be cleaned with a soft cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents. Dark spots inside the pot are caused by tea deposits and are harmless. Over time, the inside will turn completely brown, which enhances the flavour.

Rust
Cast-iron teapots may develop rust, often around the lid and spout. To prevent rust, rub the outside and the rim of the teapot with a lightly oiled cloth (e.g. olive oil). Do not use oil inside the teapot. Store without the lid or place a paper towel between the lid and the pot.
