Recipe healthy lemon balm tea

 

The freshness of lemons goes perfectly with the crisp spring air! And so does this lemon balm tea recipe. This is how you make it:


Ingredients

• 1 sprig of fresh lemon balm leaves

• Fresh gingerroot

• 1 lemon

• 1 teaspoon of honey

 

Preparation:

• Chop the lemon balm leaves

• Slice the gingerroot in pieces of 2 cm

• Slice the lemon

• Boil water (about 200ml) and remove from heat source

• Add the leaves, 2-3 pieces of gingerroot and 1 lemon slice to the water and let steep for 10 minutes

• Strain the mixture

• Add in the honey and stir

• Your healthy cup of lemon balm is now ready!
