This fall we enjoy our cup of coffee with a twist! Are you a true coffee lover? Try a coffee cocktail! You drink a coffee cocktail after dinner, at Friday drinks or just because you feel like it. These 6 delicious coffee cocktails are perfect for this fall!
1. Espresso Martini
Are you a coffee and cocktail lover? Then this Espresso Martini is the cocktail for you! This true coffee cocktail classic has rich tones of coffee and chocolate.
Ingredients (for one cocktail):
Coffee liqueur 30 ml • vodka 30 ml • espresso 30 ml • coffee beans • chocolate beans • sugar syrup 5 ml
Preparation:
- Prepare a cup of espresso. You can use it for your cocktail while still warm.
- With a bar jigger, add 30 ml of the espresso to a shaker with ice.
- Add 30 ml coffee liqueur and 30 ml vodka.
- Firmly shake until the shaker is frosty.
- Pour into your martini glass without the ice.
- Garnish with coffee beans.
- Serve with cholate beans.

2. Irish coffee
In many countries it is custom to drink coffee with whiskey, but nobody does it quite as good as the Irish. An Irish coffee is made with hot coffee and Irish whiskey. The taste of the whiskey is enhanced by the heat of the coffee. A coffee cocktail that is best enjoyed when the weather is cold!
Ingredients (for one cocktail):
Coffee 50-100 ml • 45 ml Irish whiskey • 1-2 tea spoons brown sugar • whipped cream • cacao powder • cacao beans • mini caramel cookies
Preparation:
- Add 1-2 tea spoons of brown sugar to a deep glass.
- Pour in the hot coffee until 2/3 of the glass if full and stir with a bar spoon until the brown sugar dissolves completely.
- Add 45 ml whiskey with a jigger and stir with a bar spoon.
- Place the whipped cream on top of the hot coffee.
- Sprinkle with cacao powder.
- Serve with cacao beans and a mini caramel cookie.

3. White Russian
A coffee cocktail with a kick! Also known as the cocktail that the The Dude in the film The Big Lebowski always drinks in the morning. We recommend it for after dinner!
Ingredients (for one cocktail):
Coffee liqueur 45 ml • vodka 30 ml • liquid whipped cream 20 ml • cacao beans • dark chocolate
Preparation:
- To make this cocktail, use a nice tumbler glass with ice.
- With a jigger, add 45 ml coffee liqueur to the glass. You can also use 30 ml, but we want to create a nice dark brown coffee layer.
- Shake the vodka (30 ml) with the liquid whipped cream (30 ml).
- After shaking, pour the contents into the glass slowly. Use the curved side of a bar spoon to keep the colours of the liquids separate.
- Did it work? Then don’t stir it.
- Serve the cocktail with cacao beans or a nice piece of dark chocolate to create contrast.

4. Grapefruit & thyme coffee cocktail
A coffee cocktail with fruit? Oh yes! You make this cocktail with grapefruit, thyme and vanilla. A delicious autumn cocktail!
Ingredients (for one cocktail):
Espresso 30 ml • vanilla syrup 1 cl • ice cubes • dried leaves of 5 thyme sprigs • grapefruit juice 10 cl
Preparation:
- Add the vanilla syrup to a glass.
- Finely chop the thyme leaves and add them to the shaker. Also add the grapefruit juice and 2 ice cubes. Shake firmly and then pour into the glass.
- Prepare an espresso. Then add the espresso to a shaker with ice cubes and shake. Add the coffee to the glass, without the ice cubes.
- Decorate the glass with a thyme sprig and serve.

5. Moccatini
The Moccatini is the elegant lady amongst the coffee cocktails. This mocca-coloured martini cocktail is silky soft and has subtle tones of coffee and kahlua.
Ingredients (for one cocktail):
Kahlua 30 ml • vodka 30 ml • coffee 50 ml • coffee creamer 10 ml • caramel cookies
Preparation:
- Make a cup of coffee with coffee creamer. Let it cool. You only need 50 ml.
- Add 30 ml Kahlua and 30 ml vodka to a shaker with ice.
- Shake until the outside of the shaker becomes frosty. Pour into a pre-cooled martini glass.
- Serve the Moccatini with a small caramel cookie.

6. Amaretto espresso martini
The cookie flavoured coffee cocktail! This cocktail is made with Amaretto, which gives it that outspoken cookie flavour. A very nice fall cocktail!
Ingredients (for one cocktail):
Kahlua 30 ml • amaretto 30 ml • espresso 30 ml • almond cookie crumble
Preparation:
- Make an espresso. You can use it while still warm.
- Pour 30 ml of the espresso into a shaker with ice.
- Add 30 ml kahlua and 30 ml amaretto.
- Shake firmly until the shaker becomes frosty.
- Pour into your martini glass, without the ice.
- Garnish with almond cookie crumble.
